I’m heading to Plant Biology 2016 in Austin, TX tomorrow and will be writing form there on the ASPB blog and seeking stories of plant science to write about in the coming months.
There are also some other writing projects for other blogs and a society magazine I am writing this month, so this space may be a bit quieter than usual. Rest assured, I’ll be back and writing as consistently as I can.
I’ll be doing a lot of digital media activities at Plant Biology (#plantbio16), as it’s become a big part of the conference experience. There’s even a checklist for getting the most out of the conference, including reflecting on it and writing about it. Which I definitely will do. The major symposia organizers are all great scientists and I’m looking forward to a lot more too:
I’m going to be doing some re-designing of the site too.
